Tell me the problem. I'll build the fix.

I'm Jack, a freelance developer. Websites, web apps, mobile apps, internal tools, integrations, and the awkward jobs other people have turned down. Most clients start with one project and keep me on for whatever comes next.

What I build

What I take on.

This is the usual shape of it rather than a fixed menu. If what you need isn't on the list, ask anyway. It's rarely a problem.

  • 01

    Websites and web apps

New builds and rebuilds. Quick, sharp on a phone, straightforward for you to update, and put together so it still holds up in three years.

    • Marketing sites
    • Portals
    • Booking systems
  • 02

    Mobile apps

iOS and Android from one codebase, so you aren't paying to build the same app twice. Through store review and out the other side. Desktop builds too, when it needs to live on a laptop.

    • iOS
    • Android
    • App Store releases
  • 03

    Internal tools and software

The system the business actually runs on. Job trackers, dashboards, scheduling, stock, admin panels. Built around your process instead of bending your process around someone else's software.

    • Dashboards
    • Job tracking
    • Admin panels
  • 04

    Integrations and automations

Getting the tools you already pay for to talk to each other. Bookings, payments, CRM, accounts, email. Less rekeying, fewer mistakes, less of your week gone.

    • API work
    • Syncing
    • Scheduled jobs
  • 05

    Online shops and payments

Selling online without platform fees quietly eating the margin. Checkout, subscriptions, memberships, invoicing, whatever the billing model happens to be.

    • Subscriptions
    • Invoicing

AI where it earns its place

Used where it genuinely saves hours, not because it is the thing to say. Assistants trained on your own material, document handling, search, sorting and drafting.

    • Assistants
    • Document handling
    • Smart search
  • 07

    Fixes, rescues and takeovers

Half-finished builds, inherited code, the thing that broke when the last developer went quiet. I'll pick it up, work out where it stands, and get it running.

    • Inherited code
    • Bug fixing
    • Second opinions
  • 08

    Hosting, upkeep and support

Someone to call when it breaks, and someone keeping it patched so it breaks less often. Domains, hosting, backups, updates, monitoring.

The Stocksbridge Golf Club website, showing the course and a tee time booking button
Stocksbridge Golf Club 2026

A local club, brought up to date

Their old site was hard to use on a phone and awkward to change, so members couldn't find what they needed and visitors gave up before getting in touch. Now a tee time takes a few taps, the course status is right there on the front page, and the team update it themselves without having to ring anyone.

  • Live course status
  • They update it themselves

FanFlow Private client

One place to run every client account

A social media agency was running dozens of client accounts across a pile of separate tools and spreadsheets. FanFlow does the lot in one place: schedule and publish to every account, pull the performance figures back in automatically, and read across the whole book of clients to see which posts, formats and captions are actually landing. Instead of guessing what to post next, the team gets told.

  • Scheduling & publishing
  • Analytics in one place
  • AI insight

Built for a private client, so the screens stay behind the curtain. Happy to talk it through.

How I work

How it
works.

Same process whether it's a two-week job or a two-year working relationship.

  1. 01 Day one

You tell me what you need

A call or a message. If you've already got a spec, send it over. If you've got a rough idea and a deadline, that works too.

  2. 02 Before any work

    I scope it and quote

What I'm building, how long it takes, what it costs. In writing, before anything starts, so there's nothing to argue about later.

  3. 03 Weeks, not months

    I build it

You see progress as it goes and can change your mind while changing it is still cheap. I'm reachable throughout, not just at the start and the end.

  4. 04 And after

It goes live, and I stay reachable

Handover, then ongoing support if you want it. Most clients keep me on for changes, fixes and whatever they think of next.
